A Cincinnati native, Randy Bick attended the University of Cincinnati, College of Architecture, where he was introduced to photography as an art form. This lead him to study with some of the top master photographers in the country. The skills garnered through these invaluable experiences provided the foundation of Randy's distinctive and creative style.
Randy earned his Master of Photography Degree in 1992 making him one of the youngest photographers to receive this honor. That same year, he earned membership in the prestigious American Society of Photographers. In 2001, he earned his Photographic Craftsman Degree and the next year, he became a PPA Approved Photographic Instructor. In addition, his photographs have been chosen for publication in PPA's Professional Photographer Magazine.
He served seven years on the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Professional Photographers Association (KPPA). During his tenure, while serving as Chair, he was instrumental in bringing the State Convention to Northern Kentucky, enhancing KPPA's regional status. He holds both the Kentucky Fellowship Degree and the Kentucky Degree of Excellence.
Randy's photographic images have been awarded the following:
- "Best Wedding Album," five years in a row, in Kentucky
- "Top Three" wedding album, twice in Mid East States
- Numerous Kodak Gallery and Fuji Masterpiece Awards for Photographic Excellence
Unlike many of today's photographers, Randy believes in creating a relationship with each of his clients resulting in images that reflect their own unique personality. Randy's relaxed composure and caring attitude helps to make each photographic event an enjoyable experience.
